| Prof. Rujin Zhou is a doctor, professor, and doctoral supervisor at Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology (GDUPT). Currently he serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Guangdong Institute of GDUPT; a famous teacher for giving high-quality courses related to chemical engineering; a subject leader of Guangdong; and the programme leader of national first-class undergraduate majors and courses. He focuses on the research of making clean, high-quality fuels from low-quality oil. He has won one first prize and one second prize of science and technology award in China’s chemical and petroleum industries. He received one patent award and transferred five patents, and was authorized 12 invention patents. In addition, he has published more than 80 academic papers. |

Prof. Lixian Sun is the first batch of the outstanding and fifth batch of “Bagui Scholars” in Guangxi, the outstanding “Hundred Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the German Humboldt Scholar, a fellow of the British Royal Society of Chemistry, and the researcher of Japanese New Energy Industry Technology. He has successively served as the dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and the director of the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Electronic Information Materials. He has long been engaged in the research on low-dimensional functional materials of new energy materials in the fields of energy storage and sensing. He has published more than 500 SCI papers, one of which has been selected as one of the 100 most influential international academic papers in China. |

Ning Li is a doctor of engineering, professor, doctoral supervisor and subject leader at Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology (GDUPT). He is an academic leader in the field of inorganic chemistry of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC), a CIESC member, and is currently the vice dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, GDUPT. His research interests cover catalytic materials and multi-phase catalytic-related technology. Until now, he has been involved in more than 10 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China; 6 municipal-level projects; and 2 projects in cooperation with enterprises. He has published more than 100 academic papers, applied for more than 20 invention patents, 12 authorized patents, and published one book. |

| Prof. Hanqing Tong, Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology, China |
Prof. Hanqing Tong is a professor and master’s supervisor at Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology. He is currently the Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry, GDUPT. He teaches theoretical courses on principles of chemical engineering, organic chemistry, principles of food engineering, etc. His main research interests include extraction and separation of natural products and their functions, as well as the preservation of agricultural products. He is in charge of several projects supported by Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and projects supported by Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company. He also published more than 20 papers in SCI-indexed journals and domestic core journals. |

Guiyin Li is a doctor of engineering, professor, postdoctoral fellow of clinical medicine/pharmacy, doctoral supervisor, and second-level professor at the Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology. She is mainly engaged in research on bioelectrical analysis, biomedical sensing, nano-targeted drug diagnosis, and treatment. She presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China and 7 provincial and ministerial projects. She was awarded 3 Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Awards and Invention Awards, and the honorary titles of “Furong Hundred Post Star” in Hunan Province and Middle-aged and Young Backbone Teachers in ordinary colleges and universities in Hunan Province. She has published more than 60 SCI research papers. She has applied for 45 national invention patents, 22 of which were authorized. |
